TBA 'Turnscale' is the Drake umbrella term for LGBTQ+ identities. == Turnscale Organization == As Drakes are largely prejudiced when it comes to Turnscales, the latter have created an informal 'underworld' of hidden bars, similar to Earth's gay bar culture. There are three known 'roles' for Turnscale bars -- Architect, Mason, and Sentry -- with an informal fourth, the 'Guest' or 'Citizen'. Architects 'build' Turnscale bars, organizing them and setting them up. Masons maintain bars and help maintain individual Turnscales' 'cover'. Sentries keep watch for crackdowns from the authorities, and keep everyone safe generally. And Guests/Citizens attend, and provide the clientele. See :Category:LGBT_Characters for a more general list of known LGBTQ+ characters. == Trivia == * "Turnscale" is a broad term, and technically doesn't apply to trans people, as there isn't a formal term for them in the Drake lexicon. * While Turnscale bars started in the Walled Cities, operating one in the present day is akin to "dancing naked in front of Crelers. In Rhir." Oteslia is an exception due to the [Druids] sympathizing with the Turnscales.
