Watchertrees are one of the plants native to the Bloodfields. ==Overview== Watchertrees are known for the fact that they have extensive root systems extending over a hundred feet which stay very near the surface. They will quickly seize anyone who touches them or even shakes the ground too hard. They then drain their victim's blood until they are barely alive, then give them time to replenish their blood before draining it again and continue ad infinitum until the person dies of starvation or thirst. Victims of a watchertree may still be found alive a couple of weeks after capture, though rarely sane. Watchertrees are mobile and can change locations. They are generally considered to be a Gold RankΒ threat. They can also be found in the Crossroads of Izril, though when moving, it needs to dig up the gel that covers the land before it can root itself again. == References ==
