After House Byres was destroyed Ylawes was in need of money and took his team, [[Vuliel Drae]] and the [[Poke Duo]] to guard the [[Yorrned|Yorrned merchant caravan]] into and in the [[New Lands of Izril|New Lands]]<ref>{{VERef|Chapter 10.02 Y}}</ref> until they settled somewhere for 14 days, but had to end the contract prematurely after it became clear the mission was not prepared for surviving in the [[New Lands of Izril|New Lands]].<ref name=":0">{{VERef|Chapter 10.03 Y}}</ref>
