Avel, famously known as the Kingdom of Bows, is a Terandrian kingdom renowned for their [Archers].[1]
Overview
Avel is an old but small coastal nation neighbouring Samal and Noelictus and is half as large as the later, located on a high plateau surrounded by cliffs and filled with forests. It's famous for their bows and [Archers].[2] The aristocracy is called the Court of Ranges, in which nobles petition to the crown.[3]
The people of Avel are frank and forthright. It's common for people to carry multipurpose knives for carving, and they will often do so while going about their business.
In Avel, there are wild gazelles, which can be harnessed as sled animals. It has few farmlands and relies on their neighbour Noelictus' grain, and so have many Ashwheat products. Avel produces glass using the sand from their beaches, and exports glassware for alchemy. They mostly focus on artistic glasswork, as Ailendamus has overtaken its artisans in production.

Avelian tactics include close-combat techniques for fighting enemies in melee range, using the bow as a weapon in ways that don't risk it being sliced through.[4]
