First Appearance

Chapter 8.54 H

Beton is a Hemp Stitch-Man, and formel a gladiator champion of the Coliseum of Monarchs, before ending as one of prince Esceit Quarein's bodyguards.[1]

Appearance[edit | edit source]

He is a huge, broad-shoulder Hemp-man with Metal-cloth (Steel Wool) woven into him which gives his skin a metallic-ish cast to it. As a Hemp-caste he has dull features like a blunt, curiously flat edge to his severe nose, two wide-set eyes, a mop of short, tough hair in grey, and cracked lips. He looked like an upscaled version of a [Bouncer] in some bar, a [Tough]. He wears a plain helm over his face and good, but severely plain armor, aside from a complicated blue seal that combined an anchor with some writing.[1]

Other than being a Hemp-caste stitch-Man which gives him natural toughness, he also has Metal-cloth (Steel Wool) woven into him, as well as bones made more of metal than cloth, which adding his high Class Level and Skills, gives him a such high toughness and strenght that he could survived a [Fireball] point blank range, fight a Grand Elephant to a standstill, punch through a stone wall, and even crack the arena’s magical barrier with a blow.[1]

Quotes[edit | edit source]

  • (To Yvlon) “Surrender and beg for his mercy, or I will punish you before you die, adventurer. You are not my equal. You should have been a [Knight]. A [Knight] could face me well. You? Pathetic.”
