Numbtongue makes friends with the patrons of the inn by gambling on card games, and talks with Ratici and Wilovan. Rasea Zecrew tries and fails to recruit a Goblin ship carrying Greydath of Blades to her crew. Rags forms an alliance with an Ogre tribe that's moving to the High Passes. Mavika visits the Goblin Chieftain Anazhure, the [Witch] of the Molten Stone tribe, who is making a deal with another Goblin chieftain. A captured group of Goblins (from the Kraken Eaters tribe) in a traveling menagerie is released by Anazhure's magic. The goblins slaughter their way through Invrisil, and one makes it to the Wandering Inn safely, with Erin and Numbtongue defending him. Numbtongue kicks him out into the High Passes when it's revealed that the goblin took children as hostages in Invrisil, and then killed them. Arcsinger's Bows come through the door and kill the escaped goblin. Numbtongue rests by the graves of the goblins slain during the Siege of Liscor. Shorthilt's ghost appears as Numbtongue levels up. |

Mihaela Godfrey, Runner's Guild Guildmistress of First Landing, is there to appraise Ryoka for Courier status, but holds a grudge for the death of her son, Valceif Godfrey. Mihaela beats Ryoka up repeatedly, and then fails her Courier certification. She runs away through a dimensional skill, [The Courier's Last Road], and Ryoka follows her. They have a more amicable conversation, and Ryoka returns to Riezmelt. Colfa bursts in on Ryoka, and informs her that Fierre has fallen gravely ill. Sammial Veltras also falls suddenly and gravely ill, possibly due to [Assassins]. |

Fierre is deathly ill, as Ryoka arrives to investigate. Ylawes, Salamani, and the other Silver Swords follow her to help. Ylawes puts silver in their well, a Byres family tradition, and becomes suspicious of the val Lischelle-Drakles as Vampires. His suspicions are *mostly* assuaged, but he calls to meet with Delany d'Artien. The Horns of Hammerad visit Yvlon's family estates, and she blows up at her father for his bigotry and the fact that he participated in the Siege of Liscor with Tyrion Veltras. Ksmvr gains a second tree. Ryoka discovers that the Byres house has poisoned the land with silver, via their family tradition, causing the malady afflicting the Vampires. They remove the silver from Fierre with activated charcoal and distilled water, and Fierre gets somewhat better. The Circle of Thorns sends another [Assassin] to Tyrion Veltras to negotiate for his servitude. Both his sons, Sammial and Heathon, have been poisoned. |

Teresa Atwood and King Fetohep discuss the Vampires. Nawalishifra discovers that the Naq Alrama ingots sold to the King of Destruction, forged by her father, were flawed and thus completely worthless. Trey Atwood gets on a ship bound for Wistram Academy, under the alias of Troy Atlas, and meets another Earther by coincidence. King Raelt prepares to surrender to Reim, but manages to extract a contract for war from Medain, Nerrhavia's Fallen, and the Claiven Earth. Raelt duels with Jecaina, and consults the Quarass about his options. After he decides to accept Flos' peace treaty, High King Perric of Medain instructs a Gold rank team to kidnap Jecaina in order to force Raelt to continue the war against Reim. Raelt and Flos ride towards Medain to rescue Jecaina. Minotaurs land and kill several of the adventurers kidnapping Jecaina before marching on Flos' army. |

Jecrass attacks Medain's army to rescue Princess Jecaina. They manage to rescue her, but King Raelt is captured in the process, and Geril is killed. Mars challenges the Minotaurs using her skill, and they all try to accept, before the general sends forward prisoners for execution, to regain their honor. The Minotaurs prove themselves a match for the King of Destruction and hunt down his mid-level elites and his common soldiers, forcing him to use his [Army of the King] skill. The Minotaurs retreat, job done, and Rasea Zecrew covers their escape by running Flos over with her ship, shooting a bunch of people, and killing a half-giant and Ulyse. Nerrhavia's Fallen, the Claiven Earth, Medain, and a dozen other kingdoms declare war on Reim now that [Army of the King] is on a month-long cooldown. |

The King of Destruction's people react badly to losing to the Minotaurs: Mars cries because she's so fragile and insecure that she can't take losing, Orthenon is mad about his own failures, and Flos is more determined to do even greater violence, resolving once more to capture Jecrass and execute thousands of Belchan's citizens. Flos orders Orthenon and Mars to go burn a city to the ground to soothe their ego. Ailendamus begins an invasion of Kilav, and ramps up their blockade around Terandria. The ship carrying Rabbiteater and the Order of Seasons falls under attack. Empress Nsiia hangs out in Illivere, learning how to make Golems in secret. Drassi is orderd to apologize to Perric for calling him a "rat-king" on air, and instead doubles down and calls him a "rat-bastard". After Lyonette tells him Pallass won't sell him a ballista, Bird resolves to build one himself. Erin builds a secret room that contains the Earther's technology and knowledge, and reveals it to Maviola and Selys. The Woven Bladegrass tribe attacks a Drake city. Archmage Feor tries to censure Archmage Naili for hiring the Illuminary to attack the King of Destruction, but she has more support than he realized. Calrus contemplates an honorable death in prison, and asks Bezale to send a letter to Venaz, asking him to arbitrate. Klbktch considers hiring (or kidnapping) a naval [Captain] to help him return to Rhir, or finding [Greater Teleport] scrolls. Xrn practices the limits of Pawn's [Holy Barrier] Skill by using him as a training dummy. Anand builds an underground lake in the Hivelands and constructs a model ship as a proof of concept, beginning a shipbuilding project for the Antinium. |

There's a rainstorm in Liscor, and Pallass. Octavia gets an offer to move to Pallass with a grant and stipend, but she turns it down. A magical typhoon (Typhoon Erannda) makes deliveries over sea difficult-to-impossible, and delays the Yellow Rivers cure arriving in Baleros, as well as several nations siezing the shipments (Khelt to cure one family, Medain to help control the epidemic in their ports, and Ailendamus exclusively to deny medicine to other kingdoms). In Baleros, Geneva treats a young Dullahan boy who's likely to die without the cure. Typhoon Erannda bounces off Wistram's weather shields and is deflected towards Baleros. Four Sea Couriers (The Hundredfriends Courier, Shellbaazaar, the Four Winds of Teral, and the Waterbear) accept the delivery of the cure to Baleros. The couriers complete the delivery through the typhoon, with the help of [Sea Druids] and even [Pirates]. Saliss of Lights gives Maviola an experimental potion. Jelaqua and her team go to a Dullahan ball with Maughin. The Circle of Thorns assassinates every [Alchemist] and [Healer] that offered aid to Tyrion Veltras. |

In quadruplicate. Ryoka, Fierre, and Salamani head to Invrisil. Empress Nsiia learns golem-crafting in secret. Magus-Crafter Femithain works on Domehead, his state's submission to the Golem Fights. Nsiia meets the Oracle of Elbe. Yinah the Cat's legs are shattered. Nsiia's Golem Cat is discovered and widely praised, but she destroys it to make prosthetics for Yinah. Domehead participates in the Golem Fights, and ends up defeating the reigning champion by learning additional fighting moves from Nsiia and Armsmaster Dellic mid-fight, possibly becoming sentient. In Az'kerash's castle, Belavierr makes a Cloth golem. |

Lyonette forces Mrsha to wear clothes, and Mrsha chooses to wear a kilt. Chesacre and Thaina reveal that they've learned Mrsha's sign language. Garry continues selling things from his bakery, and Pawn begins writing a bible. Montressa and Bezale solidify a business franchising things like Invrisil's seamstress shop, exploiting Erin's magic door, and Liska (Ishkr's sister) gets hired. The Players of Celum get a spot to perform on Wistram Television, but get bumped down by the Singer of Terandria. Jasi wanders around Celum with Numbtongue, and stay for a bit at the Frenzied Hare talking to Agnes. The Singer of Terandria performs music videos with hidden messages for earthers (you can be scried with your name, Ailendamus is bad, Wistram can protect but is the Illuminati). The Players of Celum copy her song (with Numbtongue playing guitar in disguise), and then start their play. It's a night of the double full moon, and the Raskhar are enacting a plan. |

Geneva demonstrates to other [Healers] why they shouldn't be using healing potions all the time, and tells Seve-Alrelious that "Joseph" from Liscor was responsible for the Occilium. Mrsha follows Hexel out into Liscor, curious what he does all day, and catches him on a date with Elirr. They impress upon her the need for secrecy, then continue their incognito date. Saliss checks in on Maviola, who's feeling the effects of true youth from Saliss' experimental Potion of Youth, made with Faerie Flowers. Raeka accidentally reveals to the rest of the council that Krshia and Lism are dating. Lism works on his [Carer] initiative (making sure the elderly, young, and at-risk citizens of Liscor are fed and cared for), has a meeting with Hedault about possibly expanding Liscor's walls, talks to Erin about wanting [Teachers] and magical herd animals or resources, and offers Belgrade six square miles of aboveground land for Antinium development in exchange for their construction help. The Raskghar stream out of the dungeon, thirty going to attack the Wandering Inn, but are completely obliterated by Saliss. The rest are diseased, and surrender to Liscor. Hectval's delegation arrives in the chaos. |

Many people from Liscor take shelter in the [Garden of Sanctuary], sleeping in the safest place in Liscor. Erin discovers the Gentlemen Callers and the Brothers of Seredipitous Meetings guarding her inn outside, and they tell her they've been hired to protect her. Lism and Krshia talk to Wing Commander Embria about how to deal with the newly-arrived Hectval diplomats. Olsem interrogates the Raskghar and discovers that Nokha told them to surrender in hopes of being cured, but they have no intention of remaining nonviolent after that. Maviola arranges a party for Hectval's diplomats. Zevara brings Erin to her office, expecting an ally to her stance of "Raskghar are people and deserve trials" position, but while Erin agrees, she doesn't have much passion for that stance (despite realizing, intellectually, that it's inconsistent with her treatment of Goblins and Antinium). Erin interrogates the Raskghar, trying to discover if they can be redeemed, but finds nothing in them. After talking with Numbtongue, Pawn, and Bird about it, she searches in herself instead and creates the Flame of Mercy, which proves to her that the Raskghar are people (while still being criminals and murderers). Pallass takes custody of the Raskghar. |

Magus Grimalkin tries to make Ryoka an offer, and then strongarm Erin, and gets himself kicked out of the Wandering Inn and the door to Pallass disabled. Lism discovers the reason Hectval's delegates have been so hot-and-cold is because they're deeply bigoted, and beats up their lead diplomat at a party and kicks them out of Liscor. Ryoka beats up Leon and Troy for spilling the beans about Earth to Grimalkin, and Palt offers (with Erin's blessing) to buy info off the Earthers. |

Tyrion calls for aid from the Five Families in curing his son's poison. The Circle lights one of his cities on fire, and the other nobles can't help him (the assassins are threatening their specialists' families). Ryoka settles back into the inn, discovers Relc is gone, tries unsuccessfully to meet with Magnolia, and meets with Ieka (who gives her lots of gold and reiterates her promise to attend the Riverfarm Solstice party). Erin plays 4-on-1 chess for fun, and brings the inn crew to Wailant's farm for a mini-vacation. Kevin, Pelt, and Hedault finish their prototype bicycle, and Ryoka almost flips out about it, but refrains and realizes she's not the sole gatekeeper of Earth's knowledge or morality. Ryoka, via Palt, communicates with Elena in Wistram as "batman". |

Ryoka talks more to Elena via Palt and his master, learning that Wistram is spying on people through the scrying orbs (including the Antinium). Pebblesnatch makes Griffon Hunt some Egg Drop Soup in Riverfarm, and Ulvama summons another Goblin tribe to the Goblinlands. Lord Gralton Radivaek arrives in Riverfarm to ask for help with Tyrion's sons being poisoned. Rie tries to convince Laken it's too dangerous, but he tricks her into thinking he's agreed and then tasks the [Witches] with divining a cure behind her back, only telling her afterwards. Tyrion puts out a public call for someone to make the cure and deliver it, and the Couriers of First Landing accept. |
