Interlude: King Edition

Orthenon is the Steward of King Flos Reimarch of Reim. As the "Left Hand" of the King of Destruction, he is effectively second-in-command of the kingdom.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Orthenon is a tall and gaunt Human male with a slim build. He appears to be in his forties. He has black hair and a long, drooping mustache, which makes him look austere.[1][2] He is described to walk like a cat when unguarded, hunching his shoulders, which gives the impression that he's always about to pounce.[3]

He usually dresses like a [Butler] or [Chamberlain]. During battle or war, he wears a leather, that is form-fitting and enchanted and a single-edged sword at his belt.[4]

Personality[edit | edit source]

Orthenon is strict and demands perfect understanding. If one makes a mistake, he would go over it again with them in exacting detail, and question them on that very thing the next time they met.[4] He is brisk and efficient, ranging from carrying out every day tasks or dining. While kind in his own way, with a quiet sense of humor, he is a terrifying figure to strangers and his King's enemies. He doesn't let his emotions show on his face, with seeing him be angry or laugh are rare events.[5] Orthenon insists on formality, always referring to Flos as 'my lord' or 'sire,' despite their close bond. He is dedicated to his [King], and was the only one of his vassals to remain during his slumber.

Background[edit | edit source]

Orthenon was raised in the Drath Archipelago.[6] He was a cultivator who committed serious crimes, including murder and theft in order to improve his cultivation. Fifty years ago, he was branded a [Traitor] and sentenced to death, but he escaped the Archipelago.[7] Soon afterwards, he became a mercenary. He entered Flos' service when he tried to meet Flos by fighting his way through everyone, and was dueling Mars when Flos came out to see what was going on.[8] After entering Flos's service, he removed Orthenon's [Traitor] class.[9]

Orthenon and Gazi used to be in a relationship.
