Chapter 7.09 K

Minizi is a Lifesand Golem created by Trey Atwood.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

She is a small red sand Golem originally half as tall as the Quarass' waist[1] and has the remarkably accurate form of Gazi, just with a slightly oversized head[2]. She has been downgraded slightly in all the fighting from her enhanced size, and is now four feet tall.[3] She has red, glass teeth, and her eyes are orbs of fused Bloodglass.[3]

Personality[edit | edit source]

Minizi is somewhat close to Sentient-class, thus having a mind of her own. While unable to communicate directly, she can display emotions such as encouragement or frustration. Despite being literally bloodthirsty, she is eager to help out, often overenthusiastic in her duties, such as when attacking her opponents.[4]

Chronology[edit | edit source]

Volume 7[edit | edit source]

Although Trey Atwood could already create golems from sand, they were not sturdy and moved slowly. In order to improve their strength, the Quarass taught Trey on how to make lifesand, which involved using sand mixed with blood. To obtain this blood, however, the Quarass used a blade to slash Trey's throat, and Gazi, who was occupied with healing her eye, was unable to intervene. The mixture of blood and sand resulted in the formation of dark red sand, which then crystalized and caused the miniature golem formed in the likeness of Gazi to move and rush at the Quarass.[1] The golem's features were refined, and it appeared to possess a greater level of consciousness compared to the rudimentary constructs that Trey had created previously.[5]

While Eldavin (Teriarch) was teaching the students that has Calac and Trey in it, he eyed Minizi and noted her upgrade but dismissed her for now as he was going to deal with one Golem at a time.[6]

As Calac and Trey were talking about their mission, while Minizi was being repaired after venturing into Wistram’s uncharted area were she had killing some kind of monster, Valeterisa enters uninvited into Trey’s room and without permission, plucked a bit of miniature Lifesand dreadlocks from Minizi. She then leaves a handful of gold coins as compensation, and walks away. An outraged Minizi tried to totter after her, while waving her sword, leaving a baffled Calac and Trey behind.[7]

Powers and Abilities[edit | edit source]

Minizi is malleable and difficult to destroy completely. She is faster, tougher, stronger, and smarter than regular Sand Golems. Additionally, Minzi can take in mana from the surrounding atmosphere but must absorb blood, or her body will collapse.[2] Being a Lifesand Golem, she is technically close to being a monster or a slime than a Golem.[8]

  • Miniature Steel Claymore (Replaced)
  • Miniature Mithril imitation-claymore (Damaged)
  • Mana Gem Core (Lost)
  • Mithril Bars - Hidden within her body, acting like bones (Lost)
