The Order of the Hydra is one of three Terandrian Knighthood Orders that is based in Ailendamus.
Overview[edit | edit source]
Unlike many other knighthood orders, the Order of the Hydra consists entirely of common-folk. They are an almost entirely unmounted unit primarily used as shock troops to break enemy heavy infantry units with warhammers.[1]
Their main strength is their ability to churn out mass-numbers of troops. Hundreds of loyal commoners can be knighted and sent to the Order of the Hydra every week.[2] These troops all have steel armor and weapons all mass-enchanted.
Chronology[edit | edit source]
Although first introduced in passing in Chapter 8.06 RT, it was not until Chapter 8.36 H when the order was first seen in any detail. Here they are shown being led by the Hill Knight, Merila to fight the Order of Seasons.[2]
