Caliburn

From The Wandering Inn Wiki

Caliburn, also called Excalibur, is the sword in the stone wielded by King Arthur.

Overview[edit | edit source]

Caliburn is King Arthur's first sword. It can only be wielded by [Kings] and [Queens]; for anyone else, it is incredibly heavy to lift, even for Giants.[1] Caliburn is one of the few things that can wound a God.

Description[edit | edit source]

History[edit | edit source]

Erin Solstice touched the blade in a dream, but could not take it out of the dream.[2]

Caliburn was summoned by Erin Solstice in Kasignel, and was used by the ghosts to keep the Dead Gods away from Chandrar.[1]

When Kasignel was being unmade and almost all the ghosts had disappeared, Merindue used it to stab Tamaroth, which shattered the blade but left him with a wound that would not heal.[3]
