tl;dr[edit | edit source]

After Pisces fails to threaten Erin, they discuss the world, from geography to magic to politics. Pisces reveals he's a mage student from Wistram and a Necromancer.

Synopsis[edit | edit source]

The thrown cooking pot knocks the creature out, making the illusion disappear and reveal the mage underneath. Erin wakes him up with a bucket of water and interrogates him. He tries to threaten her again with invisibility, but Erin hits him with a pan again. He gives her some coins to appease her, but when he tries to walk out, she invites him to eat in the inn.

He is apprehensive about the blue fruit, but after Erin separated the core from the flesh he gingerly started eating. Next he got a plate of pasta. They talk and Erin tells him she was teleported. They discuss the Floodplains, named after the lovely natural phenomenon of the geography. She learns this is the border between Human and Drake lands, with Drake land being the south. They discuss magic for a bit, and the conversation ends as he mentions his issues with this city. As he leaves, they exchange names, and Pisces tells her he is a student of Wistram Academy, and that he likes Necromancy.

Quotes[edit | edit source]

  • (Pisces to Erin) “Now look here, there’s no need for violence, Miss. I can see that you are no ordinary plebian fool but an extraordinary plebian. Believe me when I say that is a high compliment from a practitioner of the arcane such as I.”
  • (Pisces to Erin) “Ah, but money is so…mundane. Where would the enjoyment in life be without variety?”
  • (Pisces to Erin) “So, if I might inquire, what is a delicate flower of effervescence doing in such a locale?”
