- Young nobility discuss, peck at each other, dismissive of Riverfarm
- Older nobility recognised Laken’s class and station
- Laken welcomes the Fae, places limitations and urges caution
- Nobles party with Fae
- Laken meets Ivolethe; she cautions him of Fae
- Party and fair folk grow dark, some nobles injured, challenges are spoken and calmed, party ends
- Poisoning attempt on Laken, fair folk offended on his behalf
- Some more talk with Ivolethe, then the fair folk leave
- Bethal and Thomast report the event and their positive verdict back to Magnolia
