Deniusth, also known as the Duelist of Strings, is a Named-rank adventurer and the leader of Orchestra.
Appearance
He has bright blond hair. He is growing bald and dyes his hair.[1]
Personality
Deniusth is extremely vain and flamboyant. Not content with resting on his laurels, he is always itching to go adventuring, having failed to retire twice. He is generous with his friends, having paid Mihaela Godfrey's medical bills and loaningLarracel Delais the money for her first two inns.[2] As a famous Named-rank, he is always showing off his violin-playing skills, as well as his knowledge and expertise. However, he is a bit of a bastard, willing to kill those who slighted him, as seen with the thieves from the Ruins of Albez. Deniusth is somewhat promiscuous, with Larracel noted that he has had to to pay off a lot of "mothers with blonde-haired babes," while someone else also mentions that he'll try to bed anyone the moment they smile at him.
Background
Twenty years ago, he became one of the conquerors of Chalence earning him a share of six million gold coins.[1] He retired with his wealth, returned to adventuring, retired again, and became an adventurer again out of boredom.[3]
He's been engaged twice. The first time, his engagement ended when he fled the altar. The second time, the bride eloped with a wedding crasher.[4]
He once had a duel to the death with an old Sword Crab.[5]
He nearly died fighting the Kraken Eater Tribe.[1]
