First Appearance |
Esiela is a [Grand Mage] from Belchan. After fighting and losing against Flos' army, she reluctantly became a member of Parasol Stroll.
Appearance[edit | edit source]
Personality[edit | edit source]
She is a high level mage, but easily flustered in battle being more focused on academics.
Background[edit | edit source]
Esiela was a [Grand Mage] and leader of the Magical Academy of Belchan's capital, Levrhine.[1]
Chronology[edit | edit source]
Volume 7[edit | edit source]
During the Battle of Viadem’s Pass, she was the highest-level individual on her side of the battlefield. The [Mage] group of Parasol Stroll captured her after she had killed at least four of them by herself. She was forced to submit to Parasol Stroll and accept a magically binding contract forcing her to be a loyal member indentured to Parasol Stroll for six years due to a total of six members of Parasol Stroll having died throughout the battle. The alternative for Esiela was her being killed. She accepted this in the hopes to eventually return to Belchan as a teacher.[1]
She later took part in the Siege of Sadomere,[2] even casting [Haste] spells on Zamea herself.[3] She continued fighting alongside Parasol Stroll until the minotaurs and Rasea Zecrew came to a battle. Rasea was able to get close to the [Mages] before anyone could stop her and kill Ulyse, the leader of Parasol Stroll.[4] The group was left leaderless and Esiela was placed under the watch of Flos himself.[5]
Volume 8[edit | edit source]
Esiela was with Flos when three djinni were sent to attack him. She had to be saved by Takhatres during the battle, but she did survive. Flos ended up heavily injuring himself to free one of the bound djinni during the fight.[6]
Powers and Abilities[edit | edit source]
She could cast a wide variety of spells, becoming invisible, levitating, and she could cast [Siege Fireball] by herself. However, she was an academic not used to the battlefield, and was overpowered by the presumably lower-leveled but battle-hardened Parasol Stroll.[1]
