Etratta was one of the most senior of Dulluhans in the Gravetender's Fist company. When Johanas spoke to her and a group of Dullahans, he offended them by speaking directly to those of lesser armor first. Kenjiro Murata then approached the group of Dulluhans to apologize on Johanas' behalf and show Etratta and the others respect in the Dulluhan way. Etratta accepted Ken's apology and drank with him.

Etratta later spoke to Daly Sullivan, remarking at Ken and Luan's 'noble and foolish' actions to retrieve fallen soldiers in the middle of a battle. After the Roving Arrow and Razorshard Armor companies attacked those in Geneva Scala's camp and the neutral zone, Ettrata died saving Daly's life, taking a lightning bolt for him.
