Appearance edit edit source

Personality edit edit source

Background edit edit source

He once traveled to Noelictus, to see places that belonged to his ancestors.[1] He fought against the Goblin King armies of Velan the Kind during the Antinium Wars and was part of the Irregulars army. He was close enough to Velan during the fighting to have seen his face.[2]

Chronology edit edit source

Volume 10 edit edit source

Himilt joined Saliss, Thalissa, Elosaith, Numbtongue, Ishkr, Grimalkin, Pryde, Mirn and Liska in defending the inn when the Goblin King broke out of the Palace of Fates.[2]

Powers and Abilities edit edit source

He has a scythe that is a family heirloom, which hummed before the Goblin King appeared out of the Palace of Fates.[2] It was also capable of injuring the Goblin King in that fight and both Saliss and Valaunt have recognized it as something special.[2][3]. The scythe broke during the fight.[3]

He has the power to become mist/fog. He could generate a bit of mist on overcast days when it already appeared, and could appear out of the fog like a ghost at best. If legends are true, then if he cures himself and becomes a True Vampires, he would be able to fit through cracks in walls, ambush foes, and becoming intangible, nigh-invisible.[4]

Trivia edit edit source

Quotes edit edit source

  • (To Ryoka) “You know so much, when even our foes have forgotten most of what we were. Who are you, stranger? Why did you bring death upon my family?”
  • (To his kin and Ryoka) “One of us will live. A Human has saved her life and given her a future. Thank you, Miss Griffin. I will not forget this. Nor will our kind. You are a friend to Vampires. And perhaps—not for this generation but the next—perhaps there is hope.”
  • (To Ryoka) “If we must move, we must. However, that would be what House Byres wants. If we flee—they win. I’d rather try to save what can be saved, first.”
  • (To Elosaith) “Colfa’s late for lunch.”
