Chapter 2.40 is the 40th chapter of Huntsong.
Synopsis[edit | edit source]
Seraphel goes over a dossier of Noelictus’ important people such as Prince Seratoito and Lord Seethru. Dalimont is impressed with the breadth of Seraphel’s knowledge. The [Princess] has always been well-versed with contracts and diplomacy. She once gained the [Negotiator] class, but it was removed by her parents. She also reviews information about her sister Lyonette’s disappearance, to which Seraphel concludes that Lyonette is on Izril. The [Princess] muses that they may soon receive word from one of the Five Families, begging to take Lyonette back.
Cara’s head is still spinning after talking with Aaron. Though wary of Wistram, she briefly contemplates asking them to help Afiele, but dismisses the notion. Lonely, Cara wants to return to Afiele, but doesn’t think she could be of any use, making her more determined to leave her mark at the theatre. Returning to the Synphasia early morning, she sees Rolare in the courtyard holding a sword.
