Redfang

From The Wandering Inn Wiki

Redfang is the name of a crimson enchanted sword.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

The steel blade of the sword has a crimson color.[1] It turned a darker shade after Zeladona's touch.

Background[edit | edit source]

Garen Redfang commissioned it from the [Enchanter] Hedault while he was an adventurer with the Halfseekers. He kept it throughout his career as leader of the Redfang tribe, and it was passed on to Redscar after he died.

Zeladona Ischen enhanced it as a gift to Redscar, transmuting the metal of the blade into "mere" Adamantite.

Enchantments[edit | edit source]

The sword is enchanted to be sharper and sturdier as Garen never needed to polish it.[1] It also has 2 activated enchantments.

The first one is a flame enchantment that is activated by muttering an unknown word. When the flame enchantment is activated, the blade began to glow white hot, allowing it to burn flammable things on contact.[1]

The second one is an intangibility enchantment. When activated the blade glows and the magic within turns the blade transparent, allowing it to pass through unechanted armor and anything that isn't flesh.[2]
