Sophridel is an ancient Elemental of Masks resides in Ailendamus alongside other immortals. He oversees and maintains the Court of Masks. To the mortals he disguises himself as a half-Elf with the post of Minister of Decorum.[1]
Appearance[edit | edit source]
In his true form he has a body that consists of thousands of different masks that float as a column in the air, and speaks with a voice that has no origin, just a general echo, as if you were hearing it after it bounced back from a place unseen.[1]
In his false mortal disguise, he uses the perfect mask of Alniesierr Carnevien’s face to take his form as a nearly seven-foot tall half-Elf, with pale skin[2] and a blank-face.[1]

Powers and Abilities[edit | edit source]
Mask Manifestation: Sophridel can incorporate masks worn by people or creatures into himself. If they wore the mask often enough, he can recreate their personality, preferences, everything they were. This allows him to assume their likeness and recall their knowledge. After a long enough time, he can detach those masks from himself to materialize the being it represents. The effect is diluted if multiple people wore the same mask. If the mask is broken, it is lost forever.[2]
Multiple Bodies: Sophridel can send his masks, his other selves, to do different things simultaneously.[2]
Spellcasting: He's described as a superlative magical caster.[3]
