Thien is a Vietnamese Earther who was transported to Terandria. He is currently travelling with Cara O'Sullivan's retinue as part of her band.

A self-proclaimed "scientist of the world," Thien is a diligent note-taker, trying to make the world's first encyclopedia.[1] He is often irritated by Greg's antics, often telling him to shut up.
