== Overview ==
Death Zones refers to places so lethal that even the survival of Named-rank Adventurers cannot be guaranteed if they enter — let alone clearing or overcoming the challenges within. There are a number of these places in every part of the world. Some are simply regions of ecological or magical damage, like the [[Dyed Lands]] or the [[Bloodfields]], still valuable but inherently risky and without known treasure waiting to be seized. Other locations are lairs, like (formerly) the Kraken’s Pass.
