Death Zones or Death-Zones, are the most dangerous locations in Innworld.
Overview
Death Zones refers to places so lethal that even the survival of Named-rank Adventurers cannot be guaranteed if they enter — let alone clearing or overcoming the challenges within. There are a number of these places in every part of the world. Some are simply regions of ecological or magical damage, like the Dyed Lands or the Bloodfields, still valuable but inherently risky and without known treasure waiting to be seized. Other locations are lairs, like (formerly) the Kraken’s Pass. Some are dungeons: magical relics, malevolent dungeons designed to slaughter, places where something died or waits.[1]
