Most of Terandria's royalty is related to the [[Hundred Families of Terandria]], the descendents of the original hundred [Heroes] from the age of myth. New royalty is likely to have their lineage integrated into the Hundred Families through marriage eventually.

In [[Terandria]], it is possible that a [King] is overthrown by a [Duke] (for example) who then inherits their rule by rule of conquest/rebellion.
