System messages serve to announce level ups, [[Classes|class]] changes, and other functions tracked by the Grand Design, such as [[Titles]], [[Conditions]], [[Aspects]], and [[Quests]]. They are heard by an individual upon sleeping or losing consciousness. Selphids residing within a living host body can hear the announcements received by their host.{{ref|1.04 D}}
