Colored Text is a technique used by Pirateaba throughout Wandering Inn chapters to represent special system messages, Skills, or effects. It has also been used to represent the magical or special nature of some character’s speech, or simply to enhance storytelling.
This page covers all uses of color up until Volume 9 - Epilogue.

- #0C0E0E - Smoky Black (RGB values are 12, 14, 14)
- Some chapters have invisible or black text which is normally hidden on the Wandering Inn site unless highlighted. It is often used to represent something secret or invisible to the characters of the story. This can include Classes and Conditions assigned by the System.

- The Cognita bot in The Wandering Inn’s official discord has !color and !invisitext commands which lists the various types of Colored Text used.
- Multiple colors have been reused and repurposed over the course of the story.
- It is unknown whether Rabbiteater's use of [Raythrust of Light] in Chapter 9.17 R is canary-colored because of the connection to light, or because he is using some power related to Velan, who used the same color in Chapter 2.27 G.
