Barnethei Levout is a Human [Innkeeper] of The Explorer's Haven, and the former second-in-charge of The Adventurer’s Haven.

He has sparkling violet eyes and brown hair.[1]

After twenty years of running Larracel's inn, Barnethei is eager to take charge of one of his own.[2] He values structure and clarity, thriving on “having the plan, executing the plan, and watching it all go according to said plan.” A firm believer that hard work is the true key to success, he has little patience for those who chalk achievement up to luck.[3]

20 years ago he started working at the Adventurer's Haven at 14 years old. He worked cleaning tables, doing his best to outdo her [Arcane Familiars].[3] Eventually, he would be promoted to Vice Innkeeper of the Haven.[4]

Barnethei entered The Wandering Inn to evaluate it. He helped fulfill some of the orders, as the inn was understaffed.[5]
He plans to open his own inn under the brand of Larra's Adventurer's Haven and is actively trying to recruit good personal for it or as replacement for when he leaves Larra.[4] His attempt to recruit Ishkr has failed.[4]

He travels in The Adventurer's Haven with its staff and a number of Adventurers as it makes its way to the New Lands of Izril, arriving there they all come to find out the perilousness of the area when they begin to face decreasing ambient mana levels to the point where it becomes mana-negative. Finding a good spot, they plop down the premade building marking it to be the beginning of Barnethei's ambitions with the opening of The Explorer's Haven.[3]
He and the staff of the new inn were doing well at first until the repercussions of the New Lands began to appear with starving travelers and multiple bandit raids. With the hiring of the stranger Toren that appeared out of nowhere, things begin to change for the better as he continues to level once again with plans to build a town surrounding The Explorer's Haven.[6]
