Reagen, or Reagen Redfang, is a cat adopted by Numbtongue.

Appearance

Reagen is a young cat with a ragged ear and has orange and white stripes on his fur.

Personality

Reagen is regarded by Numbtongue as a brave cat for taking on something with fangs and teeth, and the notion of a lone cat finding his way to a safe haven appealed to the goblin.

Chronology

Reagen entered the Wandering Inn through a window left ajar. It chased Nerry inside Octavia's workshop, causing a mess, which was when Numbtongue found him. Numbtongue was immediately taken with the kitten, though Octavia was angry at it and tried to dissuade Numbtongue from keeping him. Numbtongue took Reagen to Ellir for training, and introduced him to some of his friends before Erin spotted him. She allowed Numbtongue to keep it.

Trivia

• Reagen got his name from reagents. Other potential names that Numbtongue thought of were Claude from 'clawed', Orangefur Redfang from the color of his fur, and Cattalin from 'catalyst'.
