Tulm the Mithril is the second-in-command of the Iron Vanguard, and and a former student of Niers Astoragon. He is considered to be the second-best [Strategist] in Baleros

Tulm has dark skin, ash-colored hair and silver eyes. He wears Mithril armor, from which his title is derived from.[1]

Tulm the Mithril carries a formidable authority, rarely raising his voice yet commanding attention through presence alone. His speech is calm and measured, with even threats and challenges delivered bluntly, without bluster or posturing. Intensely serious and difficult to provoke, he nevertheless shows flashes of irritation, particularly in response to Niers Astoragon’s pointed remarks.[1]
Tulm is ruthlessly pragmatic in both strategy and warfare, willing to employ extreme measures to secure victory. Even as a student, he demonstrated this mindset by burning an entire city during one of the Titan’s games in order to win.

Tulm was one of Niers' students. During one of Niers' famous games, he won by setting a city on fire. For this, Niers sent him a message with the answer to his question, but did not invite him to converse as he would've done otherwise.
During a campaign, he grievously injured Perorn Sadiluc, which still prevents her to run as she once did in the present.
Tulm killed two Dragons in his life, one of which was a young Frost Dragon named Lazcrene, from which he reached Level 50 and gained his [Dragonslayer] class.[2] When he upgraded his class, he lost ten levels.[3]
