Trolls have a massive 7-feet tall Hulk-like form, with thick gray-green colored skin.[1]

Physical Qualities[edit | edit source]

They are able to mate with humans to create Half-Trolls like Durene.

Special Abilities[edit | edit source]

  • Durability: Trolls possess tough skin.[2] Even their eardrums are thick.[3]
  • Regeneration: Trolls have the power to heal themselves at great speed. For instance they can heal from a literal enchanted spear going through their stomach, into their guts, in less than 10 minutes.[3]
  • Darkvision: Trolls can see in the dark very well.[4]

Weaknesses[edit | edit source]

The System doesn't seem to acknowledge them, thus being unable to obtain Classes/Levels and Skills.[5]

Subraces[edit | edit source]

Half-Trolls[edit | edit source]

Offspring between a Troll and a Human.[6] They are smaller,[7] but have the natural abilities of a Troll and are acknowledged by the System, thus being able to obtain Classes/Levels and Skills.

Behavior and Culture[edit | edit source]

The Trolls have their own language. There is a civilization of Trolls that live underground beneath the High Passes. They call themselves the Folk of Deep and Song, and their leadership is called the Heartbeat of the Mountain, or the Dulat. They preffer to be left alone and stay hidden.[8] There they are adept stonecrafters, making beautiful stone homes out of different stone patterns and decorated with minerals, and statues out of gemstones. They use magical quartz for lighting. But they have no means to forge metals and possess no metal besides what's looted. They farm mushroom and lichen. Cloth and hides are valuable to them.

Trolls use drums as weapons, taking advantage of their thicker eardrums and their regeneration healing any auditory damage to deafen their enemies. They are incorporated in their home defense through a series of carved tubes to make the sound echoe throughout the entire mountain, opening and closing them to manipulate the volume. It's used to disorient and distract invaders, and marshal the Trolls.

Trolls love raw potatoes.

They call species that can level as 'people' and those that cannot as 'folk'.[9]

History[edit | edit source]

The Walled city of Liskaldreth tried to slaughter the Trolls during the last great war for the underground.

Trolls used to hold fortresses of stone off of Izril's coast, which have since sunk.

The last time Trolls emmerged in great numbers was to fight in the Creler Wars.

Lady Wuvren trades with the Trolls, and has a Troll baron under her authority.[9]
