Chapter 2.08 is the 10th chapter of Volume 2. This is the first chapter of the volume to focus on Ryoka.

Ryoka returns to Celum's Runner's Guild. Garia introduces her to Octavia Cotton.
Synopsis[edit | edit source]
Ryoka returns to Celum and is educated by Garia and Fals about [Runners'] and [Courier's] economics, the Courier heading south, geography and and artifact economics.
Afterwards, Garia introduces Ryoka and Octavia to each other. Octavia tries to walk all over Ryoka with her saleswomanship, but is thwarted by Ryoka who is not interested in her shifty deals.
