Chapter 2.10 T is the 12th chapter of Volume 2. The T stands for Toren.

This is the first chapter completely focusing on Toren's point of view. There have been others before, but only briefly: for example in Chapter 1.32 (Archived), Chapter 1.42 (Archived) and Chapter 1.45 (Archived).

tl;dr[edit | edit source]

Toren finds Krakk bark. He explodes the inn. Erin returns, despairs, and orders Toren to leave. He walks away and finds himself in a dungeon.

Synopsis[edit | edit source]

Toren has followed Erin's orders to clear the snow around the inn, thus created a high snow wall around the building. Erin orders him to punch a hole into the wall, then to collect firewood from trees.

Toren follows the advice of the Frost Faeries to bring his sword to fell trees, but even so he can't bring down the dense, hard Amentus trees. Instead, Toren travels further and finds the Krakk forest, not knowing that Krakk bark has explosive features. He fells one of the trees and hauls a portion to the inn, where he decides to put it's firewood qualities to the test. The bark explodes and blasts away a good portion of the inn's front.

Erin returns shortly after Toren has reassembled his parts. She tells him to get away, and Toren follows the order, but then falls into a rift. 400 feet below the ground, Toren has found a magical dungeon, and decides to get free of the place and then return to Erin.
