The Circle of Reneë was an all-[Mage] silver-rank adventuring group, led by the Human Lir, who also was a captain of Silver-rank status.[1]
- Note: The name Reneë has a trema which usually indicates that the the second vowel under the trema is pronounced seperately from the first one, like Rene-eh. On the other hand, it could just be an example of using an exotic umlaut.
Background[edit | edit source]
They were all mages, and took on almost all requests. They earned a bad reputation for running from danger, due to their group composition: They had no choice but retreat when they ran out of Mana.[2]
Chronology[edit | edit source]
They took part in the expedition into the Ruins of Liscor and were already present in the early planning stage, even though Lir was sceptical at first.[3] They proved their worth, since they could integrate well with the closed-range combat teams.
But ultimately, they perished like most of the other adventurers in that particular expedition. Lir's last reported action was preparing magical traps on the door to Skinner's chamber. Lir's face was last seen after his death, adorning Skinner himself.[4]
Known Spells[edit | edit source]
Mages in the group were able to cast the following spells[5]:
- [Wall of Flames] (Lir)
- [Ward of Safety] (Tier 1 or 2)
- [Lesser Barrier] (Tier 1 or 2)
- [Sanctuary of Light] (Tier 1 or 2)
- [Muffle]
- [Fireball]
