Jackson Carver is an Earther [Soldier] from Virginia who was teleported to Baleros.

He has the appearance of a Human male, with light grass-green eyes.[1]

While not much is known about Jackson, he was brave, engaging in combat against the Seamwalkers. Despite his regrets over his death, he was delighted at being able to ride a Dragon and fighting with ghosts. He claimed to not resent the Lizardfolk who killed him, instead blaming the Nagas for making them do it.[1]

Originally from Virginia, Jackson trained as a soldier and often frequented gun ranges. It is implied that he saw combat.
After teleporting to Baleros, he was welcomed by Lizardfolk. At some point, the Lizardfolk's Naga forced them to kill him.[1]

During the Seamwalker invasion, Jackson and a [Quartermaster], flew on a Dragon, equipping ghosts with weapons conjured from Jackson's memories and past. While arming a group of Lizardfolk, he met Erin Solstice, asking her to tell his people that he did the best he could.[1]
Dozens of artisans, [Smiths], and an [Archmage of Metal] created a giant gun with Jackson's help. However the construct proved ineffectual, only firing four times before jamming.[2]
