Jeiss Sielmark is a Drake and a Senior Guardsman in Liscor. He is also a Councilmember of Liscor.

Jeiss appears to get easily irritated, especially when rookies who’d just been promoted come up to him and ask him questions.^[1]

His surname was revealed in Ch 6.49.
He and his partner Beilmark are known throughout the city as the Gnoll-Drake pair.^[2]
Aside from Klbkch and Zevara herself, Jeiss is considered the third best swordsman in Liscor's City Watch.^[3]

(To Beilmark) “I was going to say, do you think the weirdness is spreading? And second—is this a threat? Or is this the coolest race you’ve ever seen in your life?”
(To Young Guardsman) “Welcome to the Watch, kid. You’re going to go far here.”
(To Zevara) “No worries on the job, Watch Captain. We’ve got your tail. You’re the boss, not Wing Commander Embria or the army.”
(To Lism) “Lism, if we could get mastercrafted blades in our city, no matter how troublesome this Dwarf supposedly is—Zevara would build the smithy herself. So would I. I vote to authorize Raekea to offer Pelt…”
(To Alonna) “The kids are driving me insane. Too much energy, you know? And I’m beat from doing two jobs…I really hope we can get Hexel to upgrade the playgrounds soon. Maybe install a spell to suck the energy out of the kids? We could probably power the wall spells with that alone.”
(To Alonna) “I think the dead cat’s out of the bag, to use a Human expression. Let’s say we don’t add them to our army, Alonna.”
(To everyone) “Now we have an army of four thousand angry Antinium. With armor and weapons. Who might decide to do something about Hectval themselves. And if they don’t? We have an army of four thousand Antinium in the city, not under our command.”
(To Zevara) “Is it Relc? Is that idiot finally getting his tail back over here? We miss him!”
