The Labyrinth of Souls is a Named-rank Dungeon in Baleros that was created by the Elves.

The Labyrinth of Souls was created by the Elves as a trial meant to test who was worthy of learning their secrets about the truth of the world, as well as to reveal the existence of the gods. It contains multiple Old Ones, including a Hydra construct and a giant Minotaur guarding the secret of the Elves.[2] Though dormant, it is considered extremely dangerous, and has yet to be fully conquered.

Twenty years ago, World's Founding - Niers' and Foliana's adventuring team - and an army of [Mercenaries] was chased into the Labyrinth of Souls by Jungle Tails, led by their Dragontouched. They survived inside the dungeon for two months, taking massive losses from Jungle Tails and the monsters within. At some point, they encountered Old Ones, with Foliana reaching Level 50 by slaying the guardian to the innermost chamber. After two months, the survivors of World's Founding - six adventurers and four hundred veterans - emerged from the dungeon as the Forgotten Wing Company.[3]

During the Seamwalker invasion of Kasignel, the city of Avenclus reported in the worldwide [Message] conversation that the Labyrinth of Souls was reactivating.[4]

While searching for records of Isthekenous, the Grand Design attempted to look inside it and was almost erased by the Elves' magic.[5]

Within the center of the dungeon, there is an energy construct in the shape of a Hydra which reaches a thousand feet high. Alongside it is a far smaller Minotaur, still a Giant unto its kind, who cut the Dragontouched into half with his axe.
Along the walls of this chamber, there are many alcoves with statues inside, statues of Elves.
There is a dais with a reward in the distance.

- Foliana's armor was made from an unknown monster in the Labyrinth of Souls.[6]
