First Appearance

Leilatha, often just referred to as Leila, Springwalker was Cerias great-grandmother, a Knightess and an inhabitant of the Village of the Spring.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

When Tserre first meets her in Rhir, Leila looked older than Tserre by far and at home on a battlefield.[1]

Personality[edit | edit source]

Background[edit | edit source]

She was a warrior-type fighter, most likely a Knightess in class, who has fought on Rhir multiple times with Tserre and under Silvenia. She was married once (she married around the time Silvenia switched allegiance to the demons side).[1]

She is Cerias great-grandmother and took care of Ceria during her childhood and lived with her until she died.

Chronology[edit | edit source]

Leila has died for at least a decade as Erin has stepped into Innworld[2]. In the early volumes, she mostly appears in when Ceria remembers or tells stories of her childhood and upbringing in the Village of the Spring.

Volume 10[edit | edit source]

Tserre tells King Nuitvn of her fighting in Rhir under Silvenia. Under an initiative of pairing up magic users and warriors Tserre was paired up with Leila whom she considers as looking far older than herself and who introduces herself as being a Knightess. Leila as well as a Harpy prince were some of the best fighters on Rhir when Silvenia fought the Soiretham - humanoid Silverfish - and their Archmage equivalent.[1]

Powers and Abilities[edit | edit source]

Classes/Levels[edit | edit source]

  • [Class] Lv. ? (possibly [Knightess] or an evolved version of it considering her probably fairly high level after her time in Rhir)

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • She had a "dim" view of the Blighted King and liked the King of Erribathe[3].
  • She could kick a tree out of her way if it annoyed her, even when she was sick and old.[3]
  • She was friends with Prildor, her neighbor in the Village of the Spring, and Tserre who also became her nieghbor at some point in their lives.[2]
  • She was crossed off a "small" list kept by Erribathes rulers when she died[2] (possibly a list of people over level 50 or really old half-elves).

Quotes[edit | edit source]

(To Tserre) “Magus Tserre? I am Knightess Leila Springwalker. Your Shield in combat. Though I protest, Archmage. I don’t have time to guard a junior [Mage].”
