He had not risen to [General] yet, but had studied Flos and tried to learn all there was to know about the man when he tried to lure him into his ambush, where the [Geomancer] of the Quarass was tasked to kill Flos.^[2]

The ambush failed, and it remained unclear whether Nune survived and fled, or died in battle.^[1] The kingdom of Hellios eventually surrendered to Flos and Queen Calliope abdicated.^[3]
