Ressk was a Selphid [Psychic Guardian] in service to The Minds, specifically the Third Mind.

In his true Selphid form, Ressk resembled a semi-fluid wriggling mass of tendrils. He most recently wore a male Drake form wearing robes.

Ressk was usually calm, though he could be agitated if he was uncertain of something. He was loyal to The Minds and could become embarrassed if he failed to meet up to their expectations.[1] His loyalty had limits, though. He would eventually let his conscience overcome his devotion to the Third Mind and would sacrifice himself to try and help Geneva Scala escape her captivity.[2]

Ressk acted as one of the guardians of the Third Mind, a powerful position. He watched as Geneva was slowly corrupted and the Minacien Wall was breached. Eventually, he and his fellow guardians decided to try and help Geneva escape, but they were killed before the escape could succeed.[2]
