Appearance[edit | edit source]

Personality[edit | edit source]

Background[edit | edit source]

She originated from Noelictus' capital, Menorome, before marrying Lantal and moving to Afiele. She and her children once stayed in the capital while Adreissel's keep underwent repairs after an Acid Fly outbreak.[1]

Chronology[edit | edit source]

She and her family were on the road when an ambush by [Necromancers] was laid for them, but attacked the escort of princess Seraphel du Marquin. After her husband wiped out the necromancers' forces, the princess was offered the hospitality of their home for a time, though the couple worried if their humble keep was good enough to host a princess.

While the village musicians arrived for the banquet, she met Cara as she was entertaining her children. She was pleased that she had made them smile, and payed her two silver coins.

During the undead siege, she and her daughter helped ration the healing potions. When the wall was breached, she was evacuated in Seraphel's carriage with her children. Ghouls attacked the carriage and dragged Culin out of the vehicle. Risel grabbed him and Sasi grabbed her. Seraphel tried to pull her back in, but all three were flung from the carriage. They returned to the keep and were reunited with Lantal. They spent their last moments together, then Risel fought the undead with her husband using a shortsword and buckler. She was killed by a skeleton in the fighting, and her undead body was killed by her husband soon after.

After the [Necromancer]'s death, a funeral was held for her and her husband, with the people of Afiele and those present during the crisis in attendence. The mourners sang the song of Afiele's farewell, and Culin placed a flower plucked from the garden on her coffin. She and Lantal were placed in the Tomb of Afiele by the ghosts.[1]
