Appearance[edit | edit source]
Personality[edit | edit source]
Background[edit | edit source]
He and his sister used to be taught by a tutor, until their father decided it was too expenssive for them to continue. Then they briefly stayed in Menorome, Noelictus' capital, with his mother and sister while Adreissel's keep underwent repairs after an Acid Fly outbreak. When they returned, their mother was responsible for their education.[1]
Chronology[edit | edit source]
He and his family were on the road when an ambush by [Necromancers] was laid for them, but attacked the escort of princess Seraphel du Marquin.
As there was a [Necromancer] on the loose, he and his sister were only allowed to play in town afterwards, and they started growing bored, and they resented the princess for how everyone was focused on impressing her. While looking for something to do in town, they met Cara and Violetta. Cara tried to entertain them with juggling and then flips, but they were unimpressed after having seen much better in the capital. They were much more receptive to her singing and the music from her iphone, which was very different from Afiele's somber work-songs, and to her strange dance moves.
At the banquet, they loved Cara and Violetta's performance.
He hated Cara after learning she opened the Tomb of Afiele. During the siege, he and his sister fought over a Wand of [Light] and broke it. Dalimont came across them and offered his own wand as replacement, though it was the wrong color, so they rummaged through the other Thronebearers' belongings for one the same color. On their way to their parents' room, they came across Cara. He convinced the children to speak to her. They were angry and Cara was remorseful, but Dalimont acted as a mediator and helped them reconcile.
When the wall was breached, he was evacuated in Seraphel's carriage with his mother and sister. Ghouls attacked the carriage and dragged him out of the vehicle. His mother grabbed him and Sasi grabbed her. All three were flung from the carriage. They returned to the keep and were reunited with Lantal. Culin and Sasi saw their mother die, and their father had them run and hide while he drew the undead's attention until he died too. But Sasi had a broken leg, so she pushed him through a hole in the keep's wall to hide him. He saw his sister get caught, then the necromancer cast a spell on her and took her with him. They passed his hiding spot without noticing him.
Culin was later found by Cara and then Dalimont. Dalimont wanted to take him to the surviving people of Afiele and keep fleeing, but Culin refused because the [Necromancer] still had his sister. Determined to put his sister to rest, he assumed the tile of Lord of Afiele. He led his people against the [Necromancer] at Castle Ladel.
Another undead army arrived to battle the [Necromancer]'s. Dalius approached Afiele's people and knelt before Culin. When Afiele's people charged the undead, he advanced with Seraphel under the protection of the Thronebearers.
After the [Necromancer] died, the ghosts knelt before him. Culin found his sister and was about to put her to rest, but Sasi caught his arm. Feremont had only cast a spell to control her, and she was now free. The siblings reunited, and they layed their parents to rest at the funeral. After singing, Culin placed a flower plucked from the garden on his mother's coffin.[1]
