The Spear is a mid-range melee weapon.

Overview

Spears are a favoured weapon of Drake militaries, as it goes well with their regimented formations, and they are famous for their spearwalls. Drakes soldiers can execute spear charges within their own formations, called cascading spear lines.

One of the highest related class is [Spearmaster]. This class has a minimal requirement of level 30, and is achieved by defeating or killing a [Spearmaster], or being certified as one, such as by a Walled City. There may be a hundred [Spearmasters] on Izril. Achieving the rank of [Spearmaster] is actually but the first step of a journey. Beyond [Spearmaster], a true master of the spear similar to a gold-bell [Fencer] is said to have a different class. The [Spearmaster] class seems to be appended with a title after a colon.

Notable Spears

Relc's Spear

Relc wields an eight-foot long Anti-Magic Spear. It has a thick haft of dark brown-grey wood and a grooved tip. It is enchanted to pierce magic barriers.

Lulv's Spear

Lulv's spear has a shaft made of Ashwood from Noelictus, and its spear blade is made of Lord's Bronze tipped with Adamantium.

Erchrite Spear

The Gem Regiment of Salazsar, the Erchirite Spears, wield spears with a mithril-alloy shaft and tipped with Erchirite. This mineral allows them to store and release electrical charges when they strike.

Dragonbone Spear

Among the Relics of the Az’muzarre Tribe, made from a dragon's tooth of bones. At least one was taken by an Antinium.

Spear of Desonis

The Spear of Desonis is a relic of the nation. It is as long as a lance.

Tekshia's favorite spear.

Fisherfriend

Tekshia's spear. It's jet-black and turns bluer towards the barbed, harpoon-like tip.
