Taimaguros, also known as the Shining Kingdom,[1] is a kingdom of Terandria.

Overview edit edit source

The Taimaguros Dominion is atypical as a Terandrian Nation, as it made up of two regions with their own royal lines, Gura and Taima.[2] It is the second-largest nation in Terandria, behind Ailendamus.[3] The two polities are named after twin beasts of the same name.[4]

To reach the Order of Seasons from Taimaguros by horse, the above mentioned cavalry of 13.000 horse fighters would need six days with the best movement skills available to them.[1] Depending on how the movement speed of such a large force is judged, and depending on the baggage and equipment of these riders, that could mean roughly a distance of at least 300 and at the most 800 miles.

The Taimaguros Dominion has a defensive alliance with Ailendamus and is considered a major power of Terandria.[5] The two kingdoms are also united by marriage, as three of Ailendamus' [Queens] originated from Taimaguros, with the former princess Oiena of Taimaguros being married to Itorin Zessoprical II of Ailendamus as its current [Queen].[6]

It is implied that there is at least some conflict between Taima and Gura.[7] Taima has controlled the throne of Taimaguros slightly more than Gura.[4]

Serfs and commoners of Taimaguros are not well treated or cared for. This has led to unrest and protests.

The 3rd Prince of Calanfer, Kanmis du Marquin, married into Taimaguros.

Military Strength edit edit source

The [King] of Taimaguros is able to quickly mobilize a force of 13.000 [Riders], which speaks towards Taimaguros being a military powerhouse at least with regards to cavalry.[1]

Taimaguros has two knight orders: the Knights of Taima and the Knights of Gura, colored red and blue respectively. Like the their respective regions, the two orders are known to antagonize each other.

Taimaguros' fleet is strong enough to crush most foes, and they possess a Citadel-class ship.[8]

Chronology edit edit source

When the Order of Seasons cornered Belavierr, she used some kind of pressure to let the [King] of Taimaguros mobilize the force mentioned above. Since Belavierr survived her engagement with the Order in much less time than the riding force needed to arrive at the Seasonal Headquarters,[9] it is possible that this army returned home without a fight.
