There are seven Tides, each of which has a Skill related to it. These Skills are extremely powerful and mostly have to do with the sea.

- [The First Tide Covered Land]/[We Marched Amidst the Surf]/[The Ocean At Our Backs] — Zeres owns this skill. It allows them to summon seawater around their army. Their people can move in it freely but everyone else is hindered.

- [We Sailed Under Flags of No Quarter]. [A Storm at Our Backs]. [We Took No Prisoner]. [Blood in the Waters, Blood in the Sky]. — The Third Tide belongs to the Bloodtear Pirates. It summons a storm so strong Wistram's weather-controlling spells cannot stop it. Other effects are unknown.
- [Ritual — The Fourth Tide Pours In Blood And Storm] — The Fourth Tide belongs to Earl Altestiel. Confers speed upon a chosen ship. Other effects unknown.
