Tissl Venleather is a half-Elf [Hedge Mage] and [Brave Helmswoman] a part of Seborn's new crew.

She has brown hair and wears a travelling tunic and britches.[1]

She was born in the village of Roghit on Izril and saw the horns when they took out Limestone Golems on their trip to House Byres. She is the daughter of Disabella Venleather the [Village Headwoman]. She has several siblings one of whom is a brother who is married and has kids.[1]
After being chosen by the ghost of [Captain] Etroc to find his buried treasure (only because she is of Half-Elven heritage and the only Half-Elf willing to accept) she runs away from home after her mother stops her from going out to complete the wishes of the ghost.

In one of the port cities along the western coast of Northern Izril, she asks a number of [Captains] if they're willing to make travel for her which they refuse. She gets taken aside by a sleazy [Sailor] named Conrey but is saved by Seborn who knocks the man out allowing her to flee.[1]
At Treant's Farewell, she sits at a tavern giving Seborn a seat at her table explaining to the others there that it was the Drowned Man who found the destroyed village of Clinth before a fight could happened between him and the [Storm Sailors]. A fight eventually ensues with her being taken aboard the Storm Sailor's ship to get away from the port spanning brawl.[1]
At the hamlet of Moodfut, she has an argument with Enlock over a disagreement about payment for a service done. She once again meets Seborn there who mediates their quarrel and then asks him to help her find the treasure which he begrudgingly accepts. After sailing through the treacherous waves and digging through a lot of clay they come to find a trapped box containing what seemed to be a bunch of trash which was in fact artifacts in disguise.[1]
The two of them wait at Moodfut for their [Driver] to arrive, as their transportation appears Seborn leaves to go deal with an issue back at the hamlet leaving Tissl alone on the ride away from the coast. It's then revealed that the [Driver] Ridmec was infested with one of Irurx's creations leading the Half-Elf to the crazed [Alchemist]. Tissl rides the bloodied carriage back to Moodfut right as Shifthold arrives at the port of Moodfut creating a panic.[2]
As they were trying to flee, Tissl becomes a hostage of Gilam but the [Lord] and his lackeys are scared away from Irrel's might. Tissl then takes control of the Sword of Gilam with Irrel and Seborn boarding Shifthold to duel Irurx, they win putting an end to the conflict with all parties retreating. After the acquisition of their new ship, the Halfseekers move forwards thinking of a new name for their ship.[2]
