Zalthia Werskiv, also known as the Firebringer, is a member of the Tripartite Law company and a highly dangerous mage in Baleros.

Personality[edit | edit source]
Zalthia is a remorseless war criminal. She talks very little and delights in violence. She could be seen smiling while surrounded by smoke and flames that she'd brought onto a forest and company of people[2], and later smiling while following orders to attack wounded opposition and supply tents.[3]
Background[edit | edit source]
She is a Wistram graduate. She used to be a student of Valeterisa, who remembers her as a bad pupil who bullied her.[4]
Chronology[edit | edit source]
Zalthia was first mentioned as an unknown mage that Geneva saw attacking the Raverian Fighters.[2] Soon after, Zalthia along with another member of Tripartite Law, attacked the Razorshard Armor in their fight against the Roving Arrow Company.[3]
In Volume 4, her first war crime is the magical equivalent of chemical warfare, inflicting damage on victims' lungs which renders them untreatable with Geneva's resources. Later, she returns to destroy Geneva's entire medical operation in the dead of night.
