Invictel

Invictel, also called the Bastion City, is a major forge-city in Baleros and the capital city of the Iron Vanguard.

Geography

Invictel is located in the deep north of Baleros, where it is freezing year-round.

Layout

Invictel is enclosed in a shell of stone and metal, with the only openings used to jettison steam or smoke from its forges, and windows into the outside. It only opens more during the summer.

Background

Invictel is an ancient city, being a contemporary of the Iltanus Empire over 40,000 years ago.

Once it was burned by Teriarch, in retaliation for the Dullahans slaughtering every Harpy in their territory in an act of malice.

Trivia

• Maughin originated from there before moving to Izril.
• Both Fetohep and a former Quarass visited Invictel, over 650 and 400 years ago respectively.
• The Dragonward Bell gifted to the Iron Vanguard is located within the city.

Notes

• Originally, the city was referred to as Invinctel; going forward from Chapter 8.66, it was changed to Invictel.
