Jiupe, known as Scremtouch Jiupe, is a pirate captain of the Bloodtear Pirates. Her ship is Blood-by-Tide.

Her jellyfish features make her face look half melted, and she has one wet, glistening arm filled with venom.[1]

Jiupe had docked her ship in Runsblud along with Plainsblood. She and captain Aldrail met Ceria Springwalker at the Hanging Bait pub. She offered a handshake with her venomous hand, and Ceria took it with her skeletal hand, making a good impression with the pirate. While socializing with her, the pirates started a blood feud with the Bleakbeaks gang for insulting the half-Elf,[1] and met the Siren to call for a Drowning Night. She allowed it, but then they asked for a Drowning Night every day until the Bleakbeaks die or flee Savere. This, Revine refused even as they offered a thousand gold a night. But Jiupe implied that they would extend the Drowning Night and fight Savere as well before leaving.[2] The pirates rampaged, until Ceria involved herself and began fighting them, Summoning a Frostmarrow Behemoth and then ending the battle by casting [Rain of Frozen Tears] with Revine.[3]
Jiupe met with Irurx as representative of the Bloodtear Pirates, to hear out his offer of attacking the Terandrian fleet heading to the New lands. During the meeting, she watched the Bloodfeast Raiders' attack on Salefenwool. She expressed anger, as their leader is a former Bloodtear Pirate who betrayed them. Irurx offered eight thousand healing potions, and the Bloodtear Pirates accepted his offer, as they had been visited by a ghost during the Day of Returns and had something more to gain.[4]
The Bloodtear Pirates attacked the Terandrian fleet to steal their fates, hounding them for days. During the final night, Jiupe and her crew came upon the Naga's Den, comendeered by Erin Solstice. Jiupe approached them, desiring Erin's destiny, and gave the order to inform Maxy after they were already on their way. The Naga's Den spotted them and headed straight for Blood-by-Tide, and Jiupe opted to parlay. Erin told them to leave Throne's Will and Rabbiteater alone, and Jiupe refused. Erin then rammed them. Jiupe lost an aura-clash against Erin, having hers crushed. With her aura gone, her strength was sapped as she fought Erin. The [Innkeeper] beat her and then killed her by firing three [Shatterbolt] spells into her. The Blood-by-Tide was sunk.[5]
