Personality edit edit source

Korizan is the brutal leader of the Bloodfeast Raiders, one of the most feared raiding groups in Izril. Kicked out of the Bloodtear Pirates for being too bloodthirsty for their tastes, he is exceptionally sadistic, often making a game of the raids, such as having his subordinates magically disguise themselves as the villagers they're attacking. Though he has a habit of calling his subordinates "children," Korizan regards his allies as expendable pawns at best, and won't hesitate to kill them if they disobey his orders. Heedful of retribution or discovery of the Bloodfeast Raiders' identities, his targets are usually remote places without high-level people. Despite his careful nature, Korizan is easily angered at disobedience, and is quick to exert the worse possible vengeance if offended, such as when he ordered the assassination of Lyonette with a Deathslayer Arrow when he failed to intimidate Erin Solstice.[1]

Background edit edit source

Korizan was a member of the Bloodtear Pirates, but left after being disavowed by them. He founded the Bloodfeast Raiders when he ran into nobles going out covertly to break the law. He helped them commit more severe crimes and enticed them with the indulgences of the criminal underworld. He used them to become wealthy from their excesses and violent raids, creating a gang that grew in infamy over decades.

Chronology edit edit source

When a Bloodfeast in Reizmelt was declared, targeting Ryoka, he cancelled it due to the presence of Mihaela Godfrey.[2]

When Maresar Crusland died, he raised a glass and forced the other Raiders to raise one as well.[3]

He stopped a fight between Gilam and Bein with pain magic. He then planned for a Bloodfeast to test Erin's potential to hinder them and give him a chance to level, in preparation for claiming the title of [Bandit King]. The Feast was postponed due to the harsh blizzard, but he forgave Salkis' past imprudence when she presented him with Ryoka's iphone.[4]
