Elves

From The Wandering Inn Wiki
(Redirected from Booru:Elf)

Elves were one of the races of the world, but have been extinct for thousands of years, though their descendants exist in the form of half-Elves.

Physiology[edit | edit source]

Appearance[edit | edit source]

While similar to half-Elves, Elves look more connected to nature.[1] Compared to half-elves, they have longer ears, elongated limbs and necks, and more angular heads.[2]

Physical Qualities[edit | edit source]

Lifespan[edit | edit source]

It is said that Elves could live for thousands of years.[3]

Reproduction[edit | edit source]

Due to a genetic quirk, only two Elves can produce another Elf.[4]

Magical Qualities[edit | edit source]

Elves were said to be immune to charms and curses. They were so deeply magical that any attempt to hex or bewitch them was impossible.[5]

Weaknesses[edit | edit source]

Classless[edit | edit source]

Based on the few Elves who have appeared in the series, they appear to have been levelless.

Background[edit | edit source]

During the War of the Gods, the Elves were the first people to rebel against the Gods, the vast majority standing in opposition to them. Yet some of the Elves, such as Sprigaena, chose to side with them and were empowered as their champions to slay their kin. Those were the greatest foes besides the Gods themselves.[4]

After the War, the remaining Elves were loyalists of the Gods, despite their defeat. They would have children with the mortal races and create the half-Elves.

Tens of thousand of years ago, the Elves vanished from the world.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • According to Teriarch, Elves were so in tune with nature; they expected answers to pop up, possibly from the rocks and trees they talked to.[6]
  • According to Ceria's great-grandmother, even Dragons bowed to them as masters of magic.
  • Elves didn't need to go through puberty.[7]
  • Teriarch claimed that both Gnomes and Elves have walked upon the twin moons in the sky.[8]
  • According to Zineryr, while playing chess, Elves take too long to choose each move.[1]
  • While extinct in Innworld, some still exist in other worlds and were seen visiting Oberon's court.[9]
  • The last Elf ever born was Sprigaena's son, Solveui.[10]
