Erin travels to Liscor again and plays chess with a [Tactician] for a refund.
Synopsis[edit | edit source]
Erin finds that Klbkch has left her a bag with silver coins, the bounty for the goblin Chieftain she killed in Chapter 1.16 (Archived). She intends to make use of the coins.
Erin walks into Liscor's marketplace and challenges the shopkeeper who ripped her off in Chapter 1.13 (Archived). They agree to wager on a chess game between her and Olesm. Relc finds them playing and tries to warn Erin that Olesm is supposed to be a superior player, but she and Lism both insist on continuing the game. While Olesm stays confident, he soon finds himself in one check situation after the other.
